Good Morning Jesus Devotional The Price of Greatness 2 – Diligence | Pastor Aina Oluseun
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, doitwith thy might; forthere isno work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. – Ecclesiastes 9:10
You must do something to become great. That’s where diligence comes in.
Your greatness is not determined by who you know but by the work you do. You don’t need to lobby for greatness; you need to do your work diligently to be great.
Until your hands become working hands, you’ll not become great.
Abraham was promised to be great but he did not sit and wait for it to come to him; he had to do the work involved. As a Christian, you cannot substitute prayer for diligence. You don’t become great by praying alone but by doing the work. Even Jesus did the work that He was sent. God is ready to prosper you. Do the work! Let your hand find something to do.
To be great, you need to find something to do. Diligence doesn’t kill, it sets you on the pathway of greatness. Do the work and back it up with prayer.
